Baby Ally

Baby Ally is almost three months old here.  Her Mom, Julie, and I are friends through my MOMS Club.  I was happy to be able to capture some photos of these precious early moments in Ally's life for their family memories.  Julie is such a great Mom as all three of her kids are so sweet and chilled... she must know some secret!!  I couldn't resist all the shots of Ally sucking her thumb.. she just had the sweetest, most peaceful look when she was sucking!  

Sally's maternity portraits

Last week I got together with my beautiful friend Sally to take some maternity pictures.  This is Sally's third and final child so she wanted to document her belly!  Pregnancy is such an awesome thing and I love that women are doing these pictures so they can always remember that amazing time in their life!  Sally is so cute- in college we would always joke that she could wear a burlap sack and still look great!  The best part is she is as genuinely nice as she is cute and her big, kind heart comes through in these pictures I think! 

Erika's Maternity Shoot

Last week I got to shoot my friend Erika for her maternity pictures.  She is such a beautiful preggers with her little basketball inside(-:   Erika and I were pregnant with our first children at the same time so I am a little jealous of her belly this time around!  If only we could all be so cute when we were 8 months pregnant!!

Being a stay-at-home Mom is a beautiful thing!  I think my favorite thing is that throughout the day as I do ordinary tasks and housework, Madeline will make something so fun and act so cute that we'll just stop and play for awhile.  Like a few days ago, I was making the bed and she didn't want to get down so I just made it "around" her and she thought it was the most fun thing ever and was laughing and being super cute!  Of course I had to take some pictures since she was being so sweet.  I'm so thankful for being able to have these fun little moments everyday with her!!

Happy Independence Day America!

July 4th!  Happy Birthday America!  I love the fourth of July.. swimming and grilling out with friends is such a fun summertime tradition!  Not to mention it is a good time to remember how blessed we are to live in such a great country!  We had our friends The Derkenne Family over and they brought some friends visiting from Australia with them.  It was funny that only half of our crew celebrating was from America... we definitely showed our patriotic spirit though(-:
